The purpose is to stop the overthinking mind and learn to observe ourselves and things the way they are. There are thousands of methods to achieve this state of mind. I use diverse techniques which I learned through many different teachers and methods. The types of meditation I share with students, clients or patients are: Theravada, Vipassana, Shamata, Mindfulness, Dhamakaya, Mantra and Visualization. As in yoga asana practices, meditation fit to everyone nevertheless we always can feel more comfortable with one method than another. My approach is to share all the methods I know, and encourage the students to keep searching in their own journey the method which complete them the most.
